Former Cowboys defensive end Trysten Hill is expected to sign with the Cleveland Browns, per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Hill was selected by the Cowboys with a second-round pick in the 2019 draft. He spent most of his first four NFL seasons in Dallas before getting waived midway through the 2022 season.

He spent the second half of his 2022 season with the Arizona Cardinals.

Hill, a former UCF star, notched a career-high 12 tackles and 1.0 sacks through 13 games this past season. His one sack came during his time in Arizona.

Injuries and discipline issues have plagued Hill's NFL career so far. After an underwhelming rookie season in Dallas, the former early-round pick suffered a torn ACL midway through the Cowboys' 2020 campaign. He was also suspended for a postgame altercation in Year 3.

The addition of Hill provides some much-need defensive line depth following the departure of Jadeveon Clowney. The Browns released the now-free-agent defensive end earlier this week.
