Mike McCarthy Has Honest Comment About Aaron Rodgers

Mike McCarthy faced off against his former quarterback this past season.
The Dallas Cowboys head coach led his team into Lambeau Field to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in Week 10 of the 2022 season.
Rodgers and the Packers came out victorious, beating McCarthy's Cowboys with a 31-28 final score in overtime.
On Wednesday, McCarthy was asked about playing against Rodgers this past season.
“I thought Aaron played exceptionally well that night. I think he hit all his throws," McCarthy said. "... Aaron's still playing top-level football.”
Rodgers completed 14 of his 20 pass attempts for 224 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Packers' Week 10 win over the Cowboys. This was the game that saw rookie wide receiver Christian Watson breakout with three touchdown catches and 107 yards on four receptions.
Rodgers and McCarthy spent 13 seasons as a QB-head coach combo and won Super Bowl XLV together in Green Bay.
