NFL World Reacts To The Dalton Schultz Decision News

The Dalton Schultz era in Dallas might be coming to an end.
According to Jane Slater, the Cowboys have not made a long-term contract offer for the tight end. They tried to make a deal with him during the offseason last year but couldn't find common ground.
This means that the Cowboys will likely go in-house for their new starting tight end since both Jake Ferguson and Peyton Hendershot are ready to go. There's also a chance that they could draft someone for depth purposes.
Cowboys fans seem to be happy with this news.
"#Cowboys have two promising young TEs on the roster and this is a deep TE draft class, so it makes sense to move on from Schultz," another tweet read.
Schultz will have no shortage of suitors in free agency based on how he's played the last few seasons. He's racked up at least 500 yards and six touchdowns in every season since 2020.
